i think that pogues are one of the best band of the world, the last year, even if i'm italian, i went in london to see them!!

what a concert!!

so i want to ask you a question...what's the best pogues' album??

my favourite one is If I Should Fall from Grace With God
but i love the brixton live cd in the ultimate collection too

My favourite album is Rum, sodomy & the lash, they are amazing!!! Shane has a great voice, i'm afraid of his bad vices... T_T

Wow - putting me to work there with this question...
What a band. My friend and I, as teenagers were backstage at every Pogues concert held in Scotland, lol. What a crowd. I believe our last encounter with Shane and the lads was when "Fairytale in New York" was no.2 in the charts, lol and they toured with Kirsty McColl (RIP).

I have always loved "Rum, Sodomy and the Lash" although "Red Roses for Me" was another particularly good album.

The only way to really enjoy The Pogues is live!!!!

PS. Did you know they started their career as Pogue Mahone - but had to change their name due to the fact that Pogue Mahone means kiss my a..? The Pogues (in English) are actualy "The Kiss" lmao!!
