advantages and disadvantages of biotechnology

I think that it is both. It can be disasterous if not done correctly. One of my friends actually majored in this subject in college. We had several talks about this and they were all very interesting. It was really great to hear first hand from someone that was studying this. I really learned a lot from my friend by listening to him.

I majored in biotechnology. Every science and technology is a double edged sword. Biotechnology is a very promising subject I think.It has contributed great to the development of economy and society for several years,it also can bring us disaster if we use it incorrectly. I believe our human can make rational use of biotechology for ourselves. :-)

Biotechnology has plenty of advantages. This could be a drawback when any of these breakthrough is not being use properly or they are barely abuse such as producing biological weapons. Presents of Biotechnolgy in sustaining the fields of agriculture, medicines, foods etc. brought multiple advantages to peoples way of living. Biotechnology is indeed a breakthrough, but people who are concerned in modifying them should be responsible enough upon utilizing them.

In future where human has to face more crisis we wouldn't care whether it brings any disadvantages or not. Biotechnology is our future. It is gonna helps us survive the the pollution, cancer and more more danger that is going to cause human species to extinct.
