Is your cat aggressive?  

I have a Siamese, and the only time she gets aggressive with anyone is when we roughhouse with her and play fight. Most of the time, even then she's not truly aggressive, and keeps her claws sheathed and teeth just nip. If she DOES bite or scratch, a stern "NO!" usually puts a stop to it.

My cat is usually not aggressive but if a stranger try to lift it or pull it,it really goes mad..Once it has attacked one of my friends very badly so that I could beet the hell out of my loving cat..I felt very sorry after that..Still its there with me as my loving pet...

Mine bites and scratches, but it's not because it's aggressive, it's because it's still a kitten and it's playing. But I don't let it play rough, because I don't want it to be like that when it's older and when it really will hurt.

My boyfriend's cat is too lazy to be aggressive. She only is towards the other cat's and the dog in the house.

But my roomates cat will randomly attack you when you walk by. I'm not sure if it's playful or not, but it does hurt, a lot!

Well, that's part of your problem, he's got a habit of agression from being unfixed for over 3 years. I know that Birmans can be kind of crazy cats, but Ragdolls are supposed to be the, well, the ragdolls of the cat world. I have never found Siamese to be aggressive, they are very active cats. I think its all in the personality of the individual cat, more than breeds. I've had a big, sweet, smart female siamese mix, a bigger, not too cat friendly siamese mix and now I have a nerotic siamese mix. All were/are people friendly (tho mr nerotic runs when strangers come in.)

My oldest cat used to torment me...Bite, scratch and attack me all the time. Don't know if it was cuz he just didn't like me or knew that something was wrong with me (I have a disability), and he wanted to show me he was boss...or just the simple fact that he was bored...Hewould never do this to my bf...Think my cat was afraid of him cuz he used to yell at the cat alot for hurting me...but ne way, we ended up getting another cat,and that calmed him down so much. I never get attacked or scratched ne more, and have been only nipped 2 times since we got the new cat, and btw, this new cat is so affectionate and loveable it is awesome... maybe your cat is just bored...
