If you had a choice to save a young baby or a old person, who would it be?

It would be a hard decision for me, but I would choose to save the young baby. Why? Because I would think that the old person has had enough with life already and is almost dones. As for the young baby, he/she hasn't even begun his/her own life yet! So, yes I would go for the baby, though I would feel guilty about not saving the old person....

I would save the baby. The baby's life is just beginning. Whereas the older person has been around for a while and has lived their life. Yes, I'd feel guilty about leaving the older person, but you never know who you could be saving. For all you know that baby could be the person that comes up with the cure for some horrible disease, or could be someone who will change the world for the better later in his or her life.
