What's the best role Sarah has played?

Sarah Michelle Gellar is probably best know for playing Buffy Summers in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer but she has also appeared in a number of films. Which role is the best she's played so far?

I liked her best in "all my children as Kendall; Erica 's long lost daughter. She wreaked havoc for Erica. She was her mothers daughter in that show. She really did a good job of her character.

I've never seen All My Children so couldn't really comment on this - I guess as a fan I should make the effort to find a way to watch the series!

Well this was like the late 80's I think. She is no longer on it. but if you do a search on her name and all my children, I bet you could find it.

To my knowledge, Sarah was in this between 1993 and 1995 but as it was never shown in the UK I didn't see it. I'm sure you're right that I could find it online somewhere - youtube is usually good for getting hold of clips etc.

Once again, I can't comment on All My Children but Cruel Intentions is a great choice.

I'll always have to say Buffy. I've seen her in some good roles, but none as good as that. But then, I'm pretty obsessed with that series. Her role in Cruel Intentions was also kind of neat, but nothing could compare with Buffy in my mind. It could partially be because roles on TV have more of a chance to be developed than in movies. Buffy came a long way in that series, as a person, and as a Slayer.

That's a good point. How many hours of BTVS were there in which to build up a really strong character? A film will always struggle to compete with that.

I'd have to say my favorite role of Sarah's is probably Katherine on Cruel Intentions. Although, I also liked I Know What You Did Last Summer, and she was in that as well, but her character in that wasn't really as substantial. She did play her character really good, but I just liked the seriousness of her character in Cruel Intentions better.
