yes ,i agree with you that the teacher is worthy of respect.but i think there are many profession also should be respected by us,like scientist,nurse,and so on.

In my opinion, there isnt the most respectable profession. All of the professions are respectable and there isnt any one of them more or less respectable.

I can't pick just one profession to be the most respectable, as there are many professions that are considered respectable in my eyes. Of these, any profession where a person who puts their life on the line for another, is the most respectable to me. Professions such as Fire Fighter, Police Officer and Emergency workers. To risk your own life for another's, it's truly respectable.
