What do you put in your Gumbo?  | |  When you make a gumbo what all do you put in it? I like to put sausages, shrimps, chicken, and crabs in mine. A seafood gumbo and sometimes I put okra in it.

We don't eat meat or fish so the ingredients are probably a lot different to yours but we did have okra in it which I really love.

| | 2.  revdauphinee (4120) | 3 years ago |  me too good gumbo is not cheap to make especialy for me now ive moved away from th gulf do you use fille powder in yours I do but i can t buy it here i have to get relatives in Miss to send it to me!My church here had a sale one day and i made good cajun gumbo and they went crazy over it!There is nothing better then good gumbo!
