nirvana songs are really easy to learn, or try buying guitar magazines that teach you tab and practise the bits that you pick up in them. I taught myself to play guitar from magazines and books and I've been playing for 13 years now, I think I'm pretty shithot!

Its good to start out with 3 chord simple songs (a key). Once you learn the key of C,, then you can play a 1000 songs in that key.. LOL Even more if you transpose.

Most pop songs are 3 chord keys, and are simple for just rhythm work (strumming). If you want to really learn a lot, and play deeper, you should consider lessons from a music store. They will teach you the right way, and prevent bad habits from starting in your playing.
