Here is one of my pieces of art that is framed. What is your opinion on this?

Here is one of my framed artwork as I did this in the color brown. There are various shades of brown in the marker set that I use. My friends and family here at home find this one their favorite and most breathtaking of the ones that I have done. What is your opinion on this piece? I am currently working on a larger version of this piece.

I love the colours you´ve used. It gives it this warm touch which is sometimes difficult to achieve with modern artwork. I really like your style. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work! Blessings Dana

I think the border is too wide. It sort of made your artwork look small. Just my thought. :P

I definitely appreciate your commments and gave you a plus. :-) It is nice to receive opinions, whether positive or negative and as mentioned earlier my drawing is bigger than what you see because the rest is under the matting. :-)

I did frame it myself but the artwork that I did is actually bigger and is hiding under the matting because I did not know what size frame I needed at the time. LOL When it comes to framing, I am illiterate. LOL My drawing is a 8 x 10 in size so I need a bigger frame to show the whole thing. I started on another one like this but a 11 x 14.

I am glad that you liked it with the frame, though the drawing is actually bigger than you see in the picture because the rest is under the matting. :-)

Thank you for the wonderful compliments and glad that you love my artwork. The drawing is a 8 x 10 so it not seen totally in the picture because of my lack of framing ability. LOL

I used markers to do this drawing and used only the different shades of brown and tan. I am thinking about trying to sell some on Ebay as soon I get some time.

I really liked that art! You are really talented! Hope to see more in the future my friend.I'm pretty good when it comes to needlework and other crafts,but I really stink at drawing. Maybe some of your talent will rub off on me,lol!

I actually love the clash at the bottom, when it changed from a tan to a maroon/red. I think its worth making the parger piece (:

Right now I am working on a 11 x 14 piece with the same colors but different patterns. I will work on a larger piece after that. I am glad that you liked the color combinations.
