Today, teacher asked us to discuss about that you want to be a housewife or a career woman in the futher. As for me, I want to be a non-professional housewife. It means that I have time to develop my own career interest. What I do is just to do housework after work. In my opinion, I enjoy housework but meanwhile I love my career. So I would try my best to balance the time to make me feel comfortable and to take good care of my family.
What do you think of it?

i was career-oriented when i was in my early to late 20s. now, that i'm in my late 30s, i prefer to be a housewife. i am already fed up with busy and stressful career-oriented way of life. as long as i have a good working computer with internet access at home, i am fine. and owning my time is very important to me.

That's the best way because consider being just a plain housewife... Life is harder today and we need those extra income to support our family's need. Two income family is better than one.

I agree with you, if we just doing house work we don't have any socialization.
And we need to work so we can see and know a lot of people. But we still take care of our family.
Women is not for work at home and wait until our husband going home, but we can do something useful

I am a career woman right now. With the problems that come up after getting married and once you decide to ahve kids, I would say that its better that you go in for a job(if interested) that caters to the needs of the kids and the family. If nothing works, its better to make a compromise and stay at home for the kids to grow up in a remarkable way!

that decision is always something that only you can make. it has to be a situation you acan live with not what anyone else wants. i would work if it wasnt for the fact that in the area i live i would actually be taking money out of his check plus mine just to pay for gas and daycare. that is also something that one might want to consider.

I will choose to be a career woman and not full time housewife. So i can go after my dreams and do the things that i love. May be i will do housework after i get back from work. But if i have children then i will consider to start my own business so that i can bring them to work.

i'm still not decided on this part of life. i would really want to be a hands on mother to my kids. so, i guess i would be working until my baby turns 1, i guess. of course this will all depend on our financial status..
wait.. i'm really not supposed to think about this.. i don't think i would be having my own family someday.
