| How much money do you spend for your Kid's party supplies? | | | | Hello everyone, I am in the middle of planning my kids birthday parties. My son and my daughter are 5 years apart but one is on the 22nd and the other is on the 23rd of the same month. A boy and a girl so have to have two different themes. I am buying all the stuff and making a lot including personalized wrapped chocolate bars, personalized goody bags, etc. I just reserved the inflatable thing and money is just flying out of my pocket. For just one child I am already at over $250 dollars. I am curious how much others spend when putting together children's parties and also what kind of things do you buy? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | OMG that is insane. We never paid that much for my nieces parties (I help raise her). I think at the very most it may have been close to a $100. Then again we didn't personalize anything. That was probably the big thing that cost you. We bought just the basic streemers, balloons, a pinata, the goody bags (which I never heard of until a few years ago. I never got one as a kid) we made up ourselves with things from the dollar store. We had pizza, drinks, and a cake. That was it. | | | | | | | asuniqueasyou (241)

| | out of curiosity, how many kids were at the party? did you feed the adults too or just the children. the personalized stuff was not expensive because i did it myself. the inflatable rental alone was $125. then food, party supplies, etc. we will have over 60 people and i always feed the adults too. it would be nice to just feed the kids though | | | | | | | Unique Video Game Party Bring a Mad Dog Video Game & Laser Tag Experience To Your Party! www.MadDogParty.com | add comment | | | |

| | Hi asuniqueasyou, my usual budget for a party is sgd200 so that is about a little more USD100. I think you are saving a lot for the inflatable since you will be using it for both parties. I normally try to save money by buying generic goodie bags at the wholesaler in large quantities. During the off season sales i bought toys at half their retail price. I've never had inflatables but i always have activities that the kids can do to fill in their goodie bags. For example, i let them personalise the goodies bags themselves, I have games so that they can win prizes that they can choose to fill in their goodie bags and have a huge birthday (card made of cardboard) thay each child or adult can fill in birthday wishes. Hope this helps. - Lyn | | | | | | | | | | Karaoke DJ for your Party LA area, All ages, All occassions www.lasingskaraoke.com | add comment | | | |
