My razor is not holding a charge long. So I call my cell company. I just bought this phone and they want between $20 and $50 to replace a battery in a brand new phone...I say no way so they say call the maker of the phone and they will replace it free.. So I call, the man says send me the battery and I will send you a new one.....I say "What am I suppose to do for a phone while you take your time sending me a battery after you receive this one......" So he says well this one time I can send the battery out to you first.... So I say great.... Then he says give me your credit card number...I say why...because they want to make sure I send back the bad battery . I say no way ,Get me a supervisor. So he argues for about 5 mins about transferring me.....finally he says ok then disconnects me..... I call back get another agent who sends me the battery 2 day fed ex, no credit card info.....Oh yeah and they could find no information where I called earlier...Makes me think that guy wanted my cc info and had other reasons for wanting it. Then he disconnected because he was afraid I would mention it to the supervisor.... What would you have done in this situation?

If your cell is a new purchased, isn't it been covered by the manufaturers guaranteed. I would ask him make good of the defect, if he refuses I will warn him that I will pursue on the matters with the authorites.

They are going to send me a new one...I just thought it was fishy that the one guy insisted on my credit card info and the other agent did'nt. Thanks for the input...You are correct..I could have pursued it had they not complied.

MaxsMom. This guy was just trying to pull a fast one on you. When he saw that you was onto him, he got nervous, and that is why he hung up the phone too. I would have complained about him and I would have mentioned how rudely that I was treated to.

Hi. MaxsMom. I would have just contacted the supervisor of this person and complained about how I was treated. I will tell them that I did not appreciate how I was talked to by the rep. They would have known about me, by the time that I was finished.
