Which one do you prefer?  |

 Do you prefer the first or the second dragon heart movie? I personally prefer the 2nd one. I like Dennis Quiad and his character in the first, but I like the characters more in the 2nd one. Esp. the friar boy, he's funny. And I like the dragon more in the 2nd one also. I just think theres more going on in the second one and I like the action. What do you guys think?

1.  draconess (479) | 1 year ago |  The original Dragonheart is more of a classic, the second one moved more towards cheesy comedy a lot of the time, but I still love them both. I enjoyed laughing at the second one and the cute little dragon, and the big fight scene at the end was ok. But nothing beats Sean Connery as Draco, and the original Dragonheart definately had a bigger budget and better CGI work and script.

"he was tryin to teach drake to blow fire, and it came out the other end." Lol his accent is sooo cute! | |

I remember that from somewhere but I don't know if it was the sequal to Dragon Heart. Could anyone shed some light on this for me?
Also: this may be presumptious of me, but originals are usually better than sequals, so I dont see why this would be any different.
I really liked the ending of Dragon Heart, and to some extent I feel that any direct continuation from it would spoil it.

I liked the story line of the second one, but the dragons graphics weren't good like in the first one. I don't know why they could make the dragon in the first look cool, but the one in the second looked totally animated! I think it the graphics were better I would have liked the second one a lot more. | |
