When I was a kid my mom would make 'crispy treats' using a variety of cereals. Sometimes the plain rice crispies, sometimes cocoa crispies, sometime corn flakes. My all time favorite as a child was froot loops. All the gooey goodness of rice crispy treats but colorful and fruity! So fun to eat... I suggest you try this substitution with your kids... everyone I've ever made them for loved them!

The recipe is available on most any box of rice krispie treats-both name brand and store brand. My only tip would be possibly add a little more marshmellow to them then the recipe calls for. I have tested a few recipes that seems that they lack a little bit of the marshmallow. Very simple-only 3 ingredients. You can't beat that!
