Remember water beds?  

we got that kind when we married, it was a Somma, I believe the make was. It was great at first, but eventually it just wore down so much, no support any more. When the tubes would get a leak (like after my daughter decided to use my mattress as a pin cushion!) I had to call across country and pay enormous shipping for a replacement. 2 years ago after 17 years of marriage we bought a regular spring mattress from a funiture store going out of business. It still cost a pretty penny, but I hope it will last several decades at that price!

I used to have one, but the second time I woke up to soggy sheets (the mattress leaked not me!) I got rid of it. I really loved it in the summer when it was too hot to sleep, or breathe or even just be, I would put a thin sheet on the mattress and lie on it. Without the heater or a pad it was cold and I could cool down real fast.

I used to have one. One of the old kind, not with the tubes in it. The really sloshy kind. I had a cat who loved it. She would lie on it and just roll around and slosh back and forth on it.

Waterbeds. I love having them. I used to have two. Then one day, a guy I know (close relative of mine) vent his anger on those beds. After losing those two, I've never acquired any anymore. Actually, I have been thinking of having waterbeds again after the house repairs are through. Nice of you to have touched on this.

No I don't have a water bed but i think it would be very nice to have one.. never tried it really but seeing it in the movies i think it can be really a good peace of luxury if I can afford it one day :)

I remember water beds. i never had one. i have tried some, but never liked them. I think it is very uncomfortable to have the bed move underneath me. i like a hard bed the best. No waterbeds I have tried have come close to feel ok to me

We had a water bed that was full motion. We still have the bed but we put in a regular bed matress. The bed it's self was really nice but we got tired of the movement.
