Have you ever saved a complete stranger's life?

Personally, I have never done this. My brother saved a baby's life. It was on the same day Prince Charles and Princess Diana were married. David Hartman interrupted the tv coverage, here in America, to tell the story. As I was watching the wedding, I was so proud of my brother. He was in his apartment, heard a baby crying, looked out his window and across the parking lot there was a baby on a third floor balcony. The baby was very close to the edge on the balcony. He ran out and over to this apartment building and just waited. Sure enough, the baby fell through the bars. She fell right in to the waiting arms of my brother. She had walked out on to the balcony, her Mom was asleep inside. As my brother was there waiting, someone else called 911. The Mom didn't wake up until someone knocked at her door! Mr. Hartman referred to this as "The Catch of The Day". It was very cool!

I saved a baby too about a couple of years ago. i think he was 2 years old at that time. I was in a mall, in front of mcdonalds waiting for my mom when this small, cute little kid went out of mcdonalds alone. i realised that the escalators are near mcdonalds, i decided to follow him because i got worried since he was alone. when he was about 5 meters away from the escalator, i hurried to his side and asked him where his mom was. he just uttered mommy over and over and was about to get on the escalator. i was hesitant to carry him since someone might think im trying to abduct the kid but whatever, i knew he will fall from the escalator if i won't carry him. so i did and while i was walking, carrying him, i saw my mom and told her what happened. we entered mcdonalds and i've let the kid walk by himself. he suddenly approached a young waman and called her mommy. i talked to the lady and confirmed that she was the mom of the kid. she thought that her baby was with her husband and the husband thought that his baby was with his wife. the couple thanked us and i told them to watch over their baby coz their baby's really smart.
