Why Do Drunk Driver's Get A Light Sentence?

that is just a crock of bs. he knew what he was doing when he indulged in the alcohol. he knew he was drunk when he climbed behind of the wheel of his vehicle. he also kknew what he was doing when he drove off. i not only think he should be held totally accountable but the bartender as well. they knew he was drunk and still let him behind the wheel instead of calling a taxi. in the united states we hold our bartenders and bars iable as well as the drunk driver. he just didnt care about anything except going to his next stop. i think the laws should be much harder than they are. my grandmother drove drunk and got into an accident. luckily everyone was alive still. however the family of the people she hit did sue the bar she left from and won bc they where negligent as well. the only one who got hurt was my grandmother thank god for that
