Classical Music, talk to the baby, going out and meet people. Reading books. The baby listens even in the womb. Introduce the family member.

There are 50% studies saying that is true and the other 50% say that it is not. I think they are probably both right. A lot of the synapses aren't even being created until later in the term. Also, oxygen is needed to create larger brain processes. However, I think parents that care enough to talk and play music while still in the womb will create better babies.

Yes oxygen can improve mental ability. My uncle who is a doctor in Chinese Medicine teach us how to deep breath. It is his exercise every morning to feed his brain with oxygen for better memory and study.

I think that a baby can listen. Classical music does have a soothing effect and it has been observed that what soothes them in the womb, soothes them after they are born too. My brother used to call me up everyday when i was pregnant and i feel my child is connected to him today because of that although we live half the world away from each other.
