Following the last years war with Lebanon, a great political turmoil has been there in Israel and is unfolding every day. Army chief has already resigned and Olmert is facing a tough political challenge. Public is demanding his as well as Defence minister's resign for mishandling the war. What do you think?

To be frank, I have a hard time keeping up with all the goings on in the middle east. It's such a tough question with so much animosity, not to mention history on both sides.
Hopefully someone who follows the whole situation a little better will be able to come in here and offer something constructive.

Actually, filmbuff, to eliminate tough parts from this question, I already dropped history and international politics playing role in, and reduced the problem to internal Israeli political Arena. But you are right that one who hasn't followed up all what is going on there, can't actually respond to this question. In fact after so much time, I wonder if I can myself give an answer:-)
Thanks anyway, for your response. Always appreciated:-)

Oh dear goodness. I thought I'd be able to give some kind of useful response to this so you could resolve it. But I know nothing about world politics. So I'm sorry to say I don't have an answer. But maybe this discussion will pop up to someone who DOES have an answer.
Good luck.
