howmuch % of money you can save per month? just curious..

I am just curious about howmuch you can save per month.Dont think I am crazy ,asking about your salary details but just can discuss here %(percentage) wise.like 20% of salary I can save.More than that its very very dificult to save even a penny.What your opinoin guys?

Presently, I save about 20%-25% of my net salary every month. When I first started working, it was only 5%-10% because I made so little and lived alone (no splitting of expenses). I feel I've done a pretty good job of saving my money. I now have a nice little "cushion" in the bank, should anything happen like a big bill or losing my job for awhile (not that I think I will, but it is still good to be prepared).

I am very happy for you.Its really good habit to save little money.that might help us in emergency situations.Nobody can give us even a penny when we are in need.thanks for the respose.

It varies from month to month. For instance, some months I'll spend more money on holiday gifts, so I put less into savings. And, then make up for it the next month by buying cheaper groceries or cutting down the light bill so that I can save more. Usually, I like to put away at least 10% monthly. But, that's the ideal, not the norm.
