Do You Believe In Ghosts?

First of all, I have to tell you that I am so jealous that you have been to Gettysburg. I have wanted to go so badly just to get the 'feel' of the battlegrounds. And secondly, it sounds like you saw a really real honest to goodness entity/spirit/ghost. WOW I believe in ghosts and feel that they do exist. I feel that they are here because they have a story to tell or a problem to solve. I have been to many many battlefields and Civil War sites and have found them all to be utterly fascinating. I have had experiences like you (saw something that was quite out of character for where I was at and it would vanish before I could look twice) and I have also gotten what I feel are actual photographs of ghosts. I don't have many mind you but I do have a select few. One is of what looks to be the bottom half of a man with riding boots on. And it looks to be no more than 5 feet from me when I took the picture. Its not solid at all but you can still see what its supposed to be. I often go ghost hunting and come out with some pretty questionable photos.
