What is the test of LADDU OF SHAADI?

hey friends,
there is a saying for marriage in india that " shaadi ka laddu jo khaye wo pachtaye, jo na khaye wo bhi pachtaye ".
but i have never heard after marriage, how is the test of LADDU OF SHAADI.
what's the secret in this saying?
