Raising step kids is the hardest thing I have ever done.

My new husband's 2 teenage boys came to live with my 2 boys from a previous marriage and our new 9 month old daughter. We all got along so well on the weekends and vacations we have taken in the past, but now that we are all under one roof daily is driving me crazy. I am a strict mom and my husband is a lax dad. My step kids have went through heck their mom just showed up one day with them and dropped them off saying she couldn't handle it anymore. They were hurt and mad. We all seem to fight all the time. Any ideas on how we can all get along and be one happy family again?
