A Good Read

I don't know about well written, I though the language was horrible... Maybe it was just the danish translation that sucked!? But it's a very interesting book (read it all in one day).

It is certainly a better book than the da vinci code. and you are right about the fact that the story never slows up, it maintains its pace and reader gets tied to it to the end. One more thing is there that it's plot has got sudden twists which keep the interest of the reader. And com'on, when he jumps he falls on the water not on flat surface, so how can he have broken bones?

I thought it was a really great read as well. I agree with you on all points. I have often said it is a better book than The Da Vinci Code. I just hope when the movie comes out the compliment the book well. I didn't like the movie for the The Da Vinci Code.

I haven't read Deception Point. Is that by Brown? What is it about?

i have read the two books from dan brown and enjoyed reading both. Now that you have metioned of Deception Point. I really was planning on reading that one of this days.

I heard a lot about the Da Vinci code when the film came out but I never saw the film or read the book because there was so much hype about it! I did however read Angels and Demons and thought it was a great read, it just didn't slow down. sure some of it was a bit far fetched but then in a book like that it can be forgiven, surely?! I'm worried though that the film would not be able to keep up with the book and would be disappointing as I find most films after books are. I'd much rather use my imagination than have it there in front of me from someone elses mind!!! Now that you've mentioned Deception Point I'll look out for it, thanks.

definitely better than DVC. and it won't get on the nerves of those who don't understand what the da vince code is really about. anyway, yup, it does have a nice continous pace for the duration of the book. read it in one day as well.
