Dorm Rooms too small!!  

My neice went to University of Oregon in Eugene. I visited her dorm several times. I have to agree with you they are way too small. Most dorms in the country haven't been remodeled in decades, and they aren't equipt for all the things that college students need these days; such as computers, computer storage, desks, and much more. I don't envy you being in such cramped quarters. Maybe you can move off campus next year. That is what my neice did her second year. It was great for her.

In some places dorms are like rabbit hatches.
Do not worry too much about this.
I recommend you use the place only for sleeping.
Utilise the bigger spaces like the library to study and do your assignments.
I used to spend whole days at the library in my
younger days.
They are usually air conditioned anyway.

Its basically a hotel room, you are expected to sleep there, study in the library, get out, and generally do little besides sleep there. On the other hand it generally would be nice if they were modernized and included access to the latest in technology or at least something close to it.

most dorm rooms are too small but what can you do, just grin and bare it I guess, it was the same way in my army barracks lots of bunk beds no room, just keep in mind that you'll be able to live in a mansion after you graduate and get that high paying job. good luck

College dorm rooms do tend to be rather small, but I actually liked it better that way. Not much space to have to worry about keeping clean, you know? Besides, when I was in college, about the only things I used the room for were to study and sleep, so I didn't care that it was small.
