IS it okay for nuns and priests to support fund raising from casinos?

This event really happened here in the philippines. I know catholics should rfrain from gambling, but why did some nuns support this casinos just because they were giving funds to them! You can even see these nuns playing poker, soltmachine and etc. Arent they ashamed of what they have done?

No it is not right but then the church and its representatives will often change their tune based on what kind of pay off they are getting.
The church is not necessarily about spirituality as it is about power and money.
Which is unfortunate since there are many priests and nuns who do practice what they preach, who show compassion and who have taken vows with true spiritual calling.
The problem is when those who are not as strong in their faith take a pay off it gives the rest a bad name.
