Many movie star or famous personality lost their fame because of drug addiction. After rehab they seem they have little chance to go back. Drug addiction ruins the brain cells of a person.

of course it is. aside from ruining their lives and career, people will also like down on them as they will get a bad reputation when they do that

drew barrymore was a former addict, a very confused person while growing up. It is true that everything in their life would be ruined but drew managed to regain herself & her life.
