Paintings... Is it your passion?

I used to love to paint. I have a watercolor notebook and I did a few paintings on canvass but I always end up hating my paintings and thinking it's no good. But the weird thing is when another people see it, they think it's great. I don't know, I guess I gave up because I never produced something that I really liked.

I'm not that passionate about paintings. Maybe because I'm just a little too shallow for a person and I cant really comprehend what's on it... [LOL] But seriously, I think there really are only very few people who could understand the deepest essence of this type of art - and I guess you're one of those individuals. I find some paintings very interesting because of their realistic form and more especially if they depict a real life situation. I hate to see abstract paintings, on the other hand - guess those are useless.

I love to paint, especially when the medium is oil. But sadly im allergic to it. I get a lot of rashes and chicken skin that itch like hell.

i love to paint i think throught painting i can express many of my feelings that i cant say i think painting is not difficult only if we try we could be a great painter the most important things for a painter is being creative and being imaginative becuase creativity and imaginations are the basic point noticed in paintings

well, seems like ive got someone who shares my opinions. i love painting. it's my hobby. i love thomas kinkade. his pictures are so serene, you can actually feel their touch. even i have made a couple of pictures of my own. many of my relatives admired them. a cousin who was getting married even asked for a painting as a wedding present. my dad is especially very proud of my talent. he shows them off to his friends. from all of fine arts i prefer oil paintings. what about you?
