What was your favorite toy growing up?  |

|  My favorite toy was lincoln logs. I always liked them so much! My parents never bought me any, because we were poor, but at school, that is what I would play with. I think today kids don't use their imagination enough as there are computers and video games. Even my daughter is that way. She has little imagination anymore, what do you think?

| |  Mine was an electronic chopper that I could fly using a remote control and a car with a sensor that would change direction when it sensed something in it's way.I spent most of my days with these two.My best game was of course monopoly.Yes,today virtual games are the in thing and children are not required to use their imagination.My cousin used to spend a lot of time before the screen playing all kinds of pc games and now he is planning to design games.Hopefully, a new door to creation and imagination will open up with these virtual games .

| |  I don't know that I actually had a "favorite" toy as a child... We used to play more using our imagination, such as Cowboys and Indians, Cops and Robbers, hide and seek, Red Rover, etc. I did, however, enjoy playing with my brother's building bricks, also putting together jigsaw puzzles.

| | Yeah, we didn't have all the fancy stuff my other friends had. I didn't own a barbie doll until I was 9 or 10 I think and even then, it was a Darcy doll. I used to take that doll outside with my brothers little action figures and dig holes and line it with rocks so they had a swimming pool and build little houses out of cardboard. We also played hide and seek and cowboys and indians. LOL | | | |

| |  I don't know if it would really be considered an actual toy, but, hockey cards were my favorite. We use to "gamble" with them at recess. We would play "closies, topsies, knockdowns, bouncies" etc. If you were good, you could collect the whole set if you were good enough. Mind you the corners and the card in general were never left in that good of shape after playing with them.

| | Sure that can be considered a toy, you played games with them...LOL! That sounds like fun. I was never too good with the collecting of sports cards. Now the kids have the pokemon, yugi-oh and so on cards. They play games with those, for a long time my daughter had a huge collection and she would try to explain to me all of the rules of the game and I just couldn't get it! I bet you were pretty good at gambling with your cards! LOL | | | |
