First off, for those of you who dont know what stock photography, very basicly it is taking images and selling them for people to sue thus these photos are usually not of you and your friends and are more of photos people would find useful for creating sites or putting in magazines or other stuff like that. When looking for a good site to sell these on i recomend royalty free stock sites as then you always keep the rights to them. which means u dont give them up, ever, unless u want to that is.
Well recently i have discovered multple websites to sell photos online and this has actually got me thinking so me and a friend who takes amazing photos got together and are posting photos on various site such as the following
http://www.bigstockphoto.com
http://www.fotolia.com
http://www.dreamstime.com
http://submit.shutterstock.com
http://www.istockphoto.com
i have only had sucess on bigstockphoto and strongly recomend it i had only 9 photos up and within a short while i had made $1.50 which isnt to bad for photos i never expected to profit from and took them for my own joy. ofcourse if you want to do me a favore when you are signing up use this referal link
http://www.bigstockphoto.com/?refid=j4eafZzinX
but i have never given out this link and the small cash i have made had been from picture sales. Anyways my profile on all these stock sites are under the name Plunt. and i mean my photo only sold twice and it made $1.50 which i think is good.
If all goes well i think i will actually buy a cheap domain name to have a profile of my photos. And as it stands i have something like 600 photos more to add to my collection which will be alot more than my starting 9 photos.
Just a warning, this is not something you will earn your millions on, but is something you can earn a little extra cash from, so why not . :D
cheers
Plunt
PS. these sites are also good if you are interested in buying LEGAL photos to use.

as you can see all these sites offer you tons of different ways to make a profit, i actually believe shutterstock allows you to sell short 1 min videos aswell. so there is a wealth of income. But no unlike mylot none of these pay you just to talk,

yes all these sites are good for that type of thing just make sure you buy the proper rights as these sites all over different rights for different uses. another professional place to purchase photos is getty images , i dont recomend you sell photos here because i doubt if you havent heard of it before and your a seller then your photos wouldnt be good enough (no offense but its the truth, i personally would nenver even try to submit a photo there) but yes getty images has some very nice photos and this may be what your looking for, but they may be a liitle more costly than bigstockphoto.com ... also keep in mind there are other free stock sites around , i cant remember any specific ones of the top of my head but i know they are out there.

Thanks for the information, I have lots of photos - it was my passion to take pictures some years ago. That could be a good way to get back some money that this hobby has cost in the past.
I just need a good digital camera to start taking more photos. The place where I live is so beautiful, especially in spring and summer, even in autumn too, so some pictures could be interesting for others.
