Did you have a good Weekend? What was special about it?

I wound up having a OK weekend. A bit of the Happy and a bit of the Sad.
We went to a wedding for my Son-In-Laws Mom. She met her now Hubby the same weekend I met my husband.It was wonderful to see her so happy. It was held at a small loval winery where the grounds were gorgeous and the setting was perfect. The food was terrific and the music kept everyone lively and in a festive mood. About half way through the ceremony my tummy felt pretty icky. Well to say the least it got worse and we left shortly thereafter. For the next 24 hours I stayed within 5 steps of the bathroom here at home and as long as I don't eat anything I feel OK. if I try to eat I am back in the bathroom? So not sure what that is all about and it's accompanied with a pretty severe headache. So that pretty well took the rest of today to get over/ Hopefully by tomorrow A.M I will be OK?
But enough about me..... what did you do this weekend? what was special about it?

Welkl it was a busy weekend for me and didn;'t do any mylotting because I got my first two youtube videos on youtube..I was very nervous to do it but my hubby thinks I have a good voice and keeps getting me to sing..So I did two chinese songs..even though I am not chinese I really enjoy learniing foreign music.i can do indian and arabic too..and african and greek..any language really as long as I have the lyrics..

we had a great weekend. We all worked on Dads yard to help him out. We had a fun get together and a great meal. We enjoyed being outside and the weather was beautiful. It was also nice to see dads yard looking so good and he was very happy. We also slept very well and it was nice to get some sunshine. My father is somewhat of a comedian and had us all laughing most of the time.

WOW can I identify with that concept. I totally pampered myself this weekend almost felt guilty about it then qucikly got over that problem LOL. I had a 1 hr nose to toes massage, I saw both my Gandkids play baseball, I had a fill and a pedicure today and now I am sitting here with Hair color on my hair ( YES SHOCK I AM NOT A REAL BLONDE lol) So with that behind me I can face another week at work which is so totally stessful I will be in the same shape next weekend!

Ooooooo! It sounds like you may have had a touch of food poisoning. Make sure that you don't eat more than a tsp to a tablespoon of food at a time. If your tummy is already upset don't irritate it with alot of food. Try jello or broth but only little bits at a time.
Ginger works well if you don't mind the taste. Just suck on a little piece of it.
I hope you are feeling better soon.

Last Friday was my daughters junior prom. My husband and I were the drivers. We took several of the kids including my daughter to get pictures done early in the evening. Then we dropped them off at the prom. When the prom was over they called us to pick them up. They came back to my house where everyone changed into street clothes and have more pictures taken. We then took the to a restaurant to get dinner. After dinner the kids came back to my house to listen to music and have a little more fun. My husband and I delivered the last kid home at two in the morning and was back home by 2:30. It took me days to recover from all the driving and kids. Everyone seemed to have a good time and I am glad that this is only once in a life time.

Ick! It sounds like you either ended up with some kind of food poisoning or allergy, or the tummy flu hit you hard. I hope you feel better soon hon. My weekend went pretty well. My son finally came and spent the weekend after staying away for over a month. He's only 14 (lives with dad) but the teenager thing is kicking in, and he likes his "independence". So for the first 3 weeks, it was "I'm staying here mom...I want to go do....." Then the last 2 weeks, he was grounded for getting an "F" on his progress report for one of his classes. Believe me, he was calling early on Saturday..."Come get me mom, PLEASE!" LOL. They can't last long without their mommies can they? So we just kicked around here for the weekend and barbequed on Sunday. Very relaxing.

LOL Boys Boys Boys.....
There is always something very special about little boys (even Bigger boys) and their Mom's. A Bond that few can break, and they always want their girlfriends to be "Just like Mom".
Make him get those grades up though. Help him want to do better.!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Sounds like something you ate. Did anyone else get sick? (I used to have a serious problem and had to stay near the bathroom all the time. Imodium. Always keep some on hand. Luckily, my problem resolved itself.)
We bought a new car this weekend. Chrysler Town & Country LX. Used actually, but with a wheelchair conversion that's high tech and will make it so much easier for me to go out.
And I got hooked on YouTube. What fun! Check out my channel.

NO I was the only one that got sick. I have the worlds worst tummy anyway so it doesn't take much. I was pretty much feeling alot better by late Sunday night and tried some toast and a Banana. It stayed in and down so I knew I was on the mend.
I think I will take your advise and keep some imodium on hand though, good plan. :)

that all depends, at weekend, I will cant sleep in ever on the weekend.I get up make me a cup of hot tea and mess around online and on the computer till about 10am. Jump in the shower and head off for the weekend to my wife,We usually have a big lauch together then have a rest, Usually we can find something going on in town every weekend. If not we either stay in and watch netflix movies or go out to the movies.it is my weekends ,what is yours ,my dear friends. Tks.
