1. betterlife (1568) | 2 years ago | I used to ride bike taken on rent from local cycle repair shops. First bike I owned when I was in the University. I gave it my friend when I left the University and went to join my first job in another city. After that it was only when I bought a bike for my son. I gave your post + rating. Please rate my reply.

2. perrytx (1919) | 2 years ago | I think I was 8 or 9 and I was trying to ride my big sisters bike that was too tall for me. I kept falling over. When I was around 10 or 11 my Dad got me a used bike with a banana seat. OOh, I loved that bike, it was sooo cool.

4. becuttieusa (4732) | 2 years ago | When i was 9 years old, my mother gave me a bicycle for my birthday and i learnt how to ride a bike at that time. I did very bad job to learn it because this bike was too high for me and i was really short when i was a kid. I got lots of scars in my ankle but now they are gone and at least i know how to ride a bike:P.

5. kathy77 (6951) | 2 years ago | I was around the same age when my father bought me my first bike, yes it was a lot of fun on my bike my father used to hold the back until I got to understand how to ride my bike properly and not fall off. But I would not ride a bike any more I prefer to walk.

6. vampirestonez (786) | 2 years ago | well I was like 6-7 when I first learned to ride a bike and I was so happy when my dad got it for me as a gift and he also taught me how to ride it. Although now that I am older I prefer motor bikes but sometimes when I just feel like it there is nothing like riding a bicycle early in the morning.

7. raijin (6735) | 2 years ago | I learned to ride a bike when I was about 6, because a cousin of mine loves to share his bike and that most of the times his mother wouldn't let him go outdoors. But I learned to ride it expertly when I was about 12, when my parents bought it for me as gift after I graduated grade school. After that, I didn't pursue any such things as joining a club or owning a bike again..

First I use to ride bike with the two support wheels on the bike and after the practice of few month I was able to ride it without any support. I was too happy and exited when I had first time ride th bike without any support.

9. donditiples (711) | 2 years ago | I got my first bike at the age of four, several bicycles followed over the years as I grew up, but I never took the training wheels off until I was 11. How pathetic is that. I finally learned to ride without training wheels, but I took a bad spill at a public park (a really sensitive part of my anatomy came down really hard on the bike seat). From then on, bikes scared the sh*t out of me. An ex-boyfriend and my husband are bicycle fanatics. So is my oldest son. These days, I'm content to just watch - with my heart in my throat.
