My Freind's Husband want that she should be at home looking after his parents?

My Freinds got married 2 Months back .At that time she was working & now again wants to work.howerver his Husband wants her to look after his father who is not well & help her Mother.But she is not willing to do so.She is asking me for advice.She says this way she will loose her independence & identity.What you people say?Should she be selfish for her own self or think for his old parents.I personally ave left my job for my In-laws.But not everybody can do so?What Say?

this is wrong and unacceptable. he married her as his wife not as a care-taker. He should rather employ someone to help his mum and take care of his father rather than humiliate his wife. She loves them and her husband but they too should love her enough to allow her do what gives her joy.
