What the biggest and the best reason to move to Dubai?

I think it is a fool's paradise. Sure, it might be great for a while, but not really a good place to be stuck when some fanatic decides to break out their nuclear arsenal.

My husband currently works in Dubai. He said that if you're looking for a job, there's really a lot of opportunities there. But, it's not really the ideal place to settle for life, considering the extreme weather(super duper hot in summer and super cold in winter), traffic, fast-paced way of life, and not a conducive place for kids to grow up.

Dubai is pretty but one big storm and trillions of dollars will be spilt in the sand. A lot of public relations in Dubai would have you beleive that Dubai is affordable. It is not. The kind of costs there make a free income tax negligible. If they ever lose power or are attacked only the Sultans and those of high rank under Caliphat government will be saved.

It is 120 degrees outside the Palm rim of hotels and fountains. Where is the fresh water source? Living on the moon would be more practical and affordable. Suites in Dubai are thousands of dollars a night.

The values of buildings will drop when after years al the debt that keeps those girders rising will go bust. Nobody can pay off that debt and the Sultans are impoverishing their countries to build a Las vegas halfway round the world. What a waste.

I think Dubai is a sitting duck for anyone looking to threaten Calihate power. And right now there are a lot of people. The defense protection afforded island residents is a joke! Yes, a nuclear arsenal would score a target in Dubai easiy and wipe out the bank accounst of coutnless tribes.
