Is there a secret to being on the 'TODAY'S TOP DISCUSSION LIST' all the time??

I have been posting for quite sometime here at mylot and I mus say I am very happy with it... I loved it especially when I received my first mylot star. But there's just one thing that I would really want to happen: To find myself on the Today's Top Discussions list more frequently... I have seen my discussion on the top for only one time and that never happened again... There are mylot people who always are on top and I really would want to know how they manage to be on top all te time.. Is there a secret for this? If you know please do tell me... This might just help others too...

The secret of this is not to expect anything. Just always try to write good quality discussion but don't expect it to be on the top discussions list. Make sure you post it in either life or love interest so that more people will notice your contribution. I don't know if this will work but I think it's worth a try. I think you got that one right.. When I no longer expected anything, I landed on the top spot. In fact one of my discussions [on the keyboard thing] had 120 responses and I was like WOW I DID'T EXPECT THAT!!!! That discussion on the other is on the computer category but I agree to the idea that love and life categories would surely drag eyes too... I've had some discussions from the student category that did well too [like 70+ responses]... I've seen some of yours topic and I must congratulate you for that... Hope that happens all the time and I hope it all works for all of my friends here at mylot.. Good luck on this endeavor of ours!!! Happy posting everyone!!!

I don't know of any secret if there is any. One thing sure though that would make you on top of a discussion list is having the right topic that is interesting enough to most mylotters. To my initial chagrin, intelligent topics are not that popular here. I tried posting about politics or something along that line but it gets no response. Topics must be not that serious enough that everybody can relate seem to be the answer. Having many friends also that you could always depend on not to fail to respond to your discussions everyday and you do the same to them.

i also wonder the same. I am also surprised why my discussions never come to this section.:(. There must be some thing out there. I mean some tricks in mylot.

yeah tell me about it.I've been here for around 3 months but still haven't made it there or atleast to my knowledge i haven't made it there. Moreover there are a lot of funny things happening here like i started a discussion on "what would you invent if you had the power to it" around 2 weeks back and yesterday i noticed that some other guy made it to the top discussions with the same topic.Really hurts to see this.I mean it was the same topic but why wasn't mine taken up there.I get kinda jealous to see those always making it up to the list.lol.

I think they all drink discussion pills!!! LOL.... this is what keeps them going... Nah, I have the same aim like you to be on today's top discussion... but mine is more of a delusion... I think you just got to try harder, make lots of friends and be nice to the best that you can. that's why it's not for me... I haven't do anything good here but to argue...hihihi..well at least I made somebody smile because of my brainless insults to others... but I'm not that bad... I only give i to those who deserves... That's why I got all the bad rating in the world...just do all the opposite of what I'm doing then you'll get through it
