Nothing is more pleasant than sleeping with a hot water bag in a cold night to keep the body warm and relax the muscles as you fall asleep. One such night as I was ready to fall asleep I thought about electric blankets, but having an electrical device over me as I sleep somehow makes me feel uneasy. Some people have reported injuries and minor burns due to overheating. So I was wondering what you think. Are they safe? Have you used them?

Funny - I just posted something about them a few days ago. Go to my profile and look at the last few questions. Not the danger of burns so much, but the electric field or something that they emit...70,000 times the normal dose. I read about it online because someone happened to mention to me that they are supposedly dangerous. What I do now is PREHEAT my bed with it on "hot", lol, then you are supposed to unplug it. Works for me...
