Don't get me wrong, i love my daughter's to death, but i am finding my 13 (almost 14) so exhausting... Young children are exhausting because they are so active, but the mindgames that my 13 year old plays...she tries to manipulate everything...ya i know, i know, its the lovely teenaged years...i think i will run away til she is 30 :-)

trust me it won't help she will just find you LOL been there I have 5 girls and the games they can play only get better day by day so you need to remember the things you did at that age and multiply by 3 to get ahead of her that is how by daughters learned I would be a better friend amd mother then I would an enemy so we are all very close they come to me with all there problems even with boys,so what you need to do is point out to her is that you pulled all those tricks when you were her age and if she thinks it will work let her know you can do that to maybe she'll stop soon good luck and I hope if you do hide she can't find you LOL

When kids are still little, they are active and going after them is really tiring and exhausting sometimes especially if you have other tasks or chores in the house to do. When my kids turned teenagers, they are not as active as before when they are little. Now they just wanna play in the computer when at home, watch tv and vcd and listen to music. But taking care of their needs, their clothes, food, allowances is sometimes tiring too.

Yes,I totally agree that parenting is a very exhausting job. I have three children and they keep me oh so busy!! All the homework and activities and constant battling with rules and such. I know by the time all my kids reach teenage years I will be living else where and my husband can take over!! He thinks I am kidding. Really yes,I am tired a lot and it's hard to stay energized and lively.

As for now, I find it fun to be a parent of a 5-month old baby boy. It's because I am still in full control of him. =) I just don't know if I'm gunna pull my hair out when he turns 13 or 14. Generation today is really different from before. Maybe I just have to get myself prepared. =)
