attitude from the delivery guy

I *was* a customer of a freight-forwarding company and when they changed the renewal date (bringing it forward) without informing me, I told the delivery guy I would not be renewing that day. He told me that if I didn't renew that day, the rates would go up, but I insisted I would not renew that day because I was not happy with the service. He then proceeded to be very huffy about it as if it was a personal rejection of him. He is NOT the shipping company, so I don't see why he had to react like that when I was just exercising my right as a customer to refuse service! Since that time, I had some outstanding packages which also had to be delivered by him and he has continued to be very "unfriendly" because I rejected his company. I am still confused by his attitude and honestly don't see why he couldn't just continue being "friendly" at least, to make the best of the situation. It is after all my prerogative to choose what company I want to use! Can you believe him?! I certainly can't!
