 My friends and I have been talking about it recently. Most believe that there is really just one person for them. Another one believes that there could be more than one person for her. What I believe, though, is that love is a choice and, yes, there could be more than one person. But it is up to us to choose who to love above all the rest and to make all humanly efforts possible to make that relationship work. And if you and that person agrees to make that relationship work, I think then you've found the person you should be spending the rest of your life with.

| 2. ginagee (431) | 3 years ago |  Well in a way I hope that there is more than one person meant for us as I met my soulmate, fell in love and was looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him. Unfortunately he died and I have not found anyone since then that I could get close to, he died 11 years ago. So if there really is only one person for us what do we do with the rest of our time, do we stay on our own or do we make do with whoever comes along???

| valyushah (1099) | 3 years ago |  I am sorry to hear about your loved one...To me, I always thought that if something like that happened to the one I am going to marry I would never be able to move on and be with someone else for the one I love is such an extraordinary person and no one else in the world would ever give me what my Love gives me so I would live on the memories of the wonderful times spent together until we are reunited again "beyond the cyrcles of this world" as prof.Tolkien would say...

| 3. valyushah (1099) | 3 years ago | I have always thought that there was only one person in this world for me, and I have found this person at last after waiting some years. The point is, sometimes things get difficult and I am always afraid to lose this wonderful gift I have been given but even if my beloved should leave me, I would never be able to be wiht someone else...I know this person is the only one I can love and no one else could ever take their place in my heart. So I think that at least for me tehre is only one person...I think it is the same for everyone but I guess then it all depends on people at the same time. | |
