Any words that you use that are politically INcorrect, but you don't mind?

I wish I could have phrased this question better, but you only get so much space to type it all in. : ) Myself and another lady were helping this man today rearrange some things. When we were done, he said, "Thanks guys." I said you are welcome. SHE said, "Hey, I'm not a guy and that is sexist of you to say!"
I thought it was silly for her to do that because she was not kidding. Being called a guy in that general of a term means nothing to me. I don't care and kind of take it as a compliment. I'm just one of the gang. Also, now days, you have to say fire person, not fireman. Same for policeman and mailman. I am in the habit of saying mail person because my mail lady has been doing this job a while. But I go ahead and say policeman unless I know I'm in the presence of someone who would take offense at that.
What are your verbal habits with those words that have been deemed politically INcorrect?

I dont think it was a such big deal that the man said 'guys' either. In that phrase it doesnt actually refer to men, it refers to people...and I'm sure she is a person lol. I cant think of any phrases off the top of my head that are polictically INcorrcet, but I'd just like to put in there that rudeness is always politically incorrect to me! =P

I actually don't care if someone considers my words politically incorrect or not.
Even when I was working, I said what was on my mind.
If people got offended, then they also got laughed at, because the whole concept is so utterly stupid.
Do people actually believe that by changing the language they are going to change the attitudes?
I am Incorrect, and I love it!
Don't bother coming around me with that left wing bleeding heart crap, because I'm not impressed.
I guess it's a good thing I can't work anymore.

If it bothers someone I try to be politically correct. I try to remember to use -person at the end of words that original had -man at the end. It is becoming more of a habit for me. I hope that I have not offended any women. If I have it was not intended. Be patient with some of us guys we are slow to learn.

Political correctness has gotten out of hand. Some people just get offended way too easily. While I never intend to offend anyone, sometimes it just happens because I say the wrong thing at the time. I used to always worry about saying something wrong, but now I just say what comes naturally to me, and usually it's ok.

Intent really should be weighed with what we say. I think it's silly to have to remember all the "terms" we are supposed to use according to what the media and Hollywood tells us. Unless I'm around someone who is really uptight about monikers and I know it, I won't bother with the special terminology.
