It just doesn't taste right!

Are there any foods that Just have to be "your brand" or you'd rather go without? What things will you just not skimp on? Were these brands that you grew up with?
for me it is:
Breakstones cottage cheese
Skippy peanut butter (super crunch preferred)
Hellmans (best foods) mayonaise
and Scott toilet paper.
Yes, these are all products my mother used by brand.
My must have toilet cleaner is The Works.

Yeah , I can't eat ketchup unless it is Heinz as no other kind even comes close to the same taste . I no there are others that I am particular about but this is the only one that comes to mind as it is the one that I absolutely won't eat unless it is this kind .

Actually I used to buy the cheapo of everything. But my hubby is picky about certain things. And of course, over the last few years he has proven it to me that you get what you pay for. We do prefer certain brands compared to others because of taste/quality.
Ice Cream: Blue Bell
Dish liquid: Palmolive (reg.)
Bath soap: Dial for men
BBQ Sauce: Cattlemen's
Hot Sauce: Texas Pete

It would be instant noodles for me. I have been eating one particular brand since young. I have tried many other brands but none of them taste as good as my "original". I notice this is the same for many friends too. They just have their favorite brand of instant noodles.
