Are you a winner?  

Hey how lucky are you?I wish I could tell you about all the things I have won but I cant,I am very unlucky....I enter competitions,raffles,draws etc like they are going out of fashion but never ever win anything,I am hopeing that when i do finally win something it will be big!! Fingers crossed for me and congratulations.

I have won a few item either through the internet or through community events. But I have time where I win nothing, it goes in cycles. I never won electronics or trips but maybe I will one day.

Wow, you are a lucky duck. I rarely win anything, but one time when I was a sophomore in high school I called into a radio station when they asked a question about like their top 7 or 8 countdown, or whatever. I rarely sit around and call into radio stations, I think that was the first time I'd ever done it, but on a whim I just said "I know the answer!" and called. I didn't even know what the prize was... But I called, I got through, and I got the answer right. I won tickets to see Switchfoot play, and I got to go to the soundcheck and meet them before hand. It was so awesome. I became a huge fan of Switchfoot after that, and of the song "I don't wanna be" by Gavin Degraw, because that was my winning answer!

I went gambling in Miami last week for the first time and walked away with $5 more than when I began. Ha, it's not much...but it paid for my lunch! Other than that...I won a vacation package for my honeymoon, but I never used it. There were too many rules and both people had to be 21 or older and my hubby was only 20...too bad huh? That is about the extent of my winnings though. Congrats on your ipod!

I was never lucky at winning anything much either but was excited when in march as well I won an mp3 , cd player with the remote from work . My daughter would have preferred it to be an ipod as she wants one so bad lol , but I was just happy that I finally acutally won something as this only happens once every how many years . I won it at work for getting quota's and for everyone we got we had our name put in for a draw and mine was selected .

I've never won anything in a contest like that - only in school contests, way back then, and those were based more on merit than on chance. So no, I don't consider myself to be "a winner" in that respect. ;)

I have only ever won one big prize. Way back in the 60's I won £250. It was like winning the lottery. We had just move into our first house and we were able to use the money to furnish it. Since then I have only one very small things in raffles like crystal bowls and chocolates.
