do you think of your pets as kids?

i love animals and give them hugs and kisses etc. i even buy them treats. i have come across some people that buy there pets clothes, go to restuarants to get them dinner, give them there own bedroom etc. i know one lady that can not have kids so she got a puppy and that puppy is her kid. she had him in a baby bed till he was a year then got him a toddler bed etc. is there a point of going to far? i treat mine like they are poeple yes but i dont take it that far. then i have other friends that just have a dog that they play with every once in awhile but always make sure its fed etc but just look at it as being a dog. how do you feel about your pets?

I treat my dog as if he were my son.But I don't think I would go that far as to get him his own bed.He sleeps in bed with us anyway. He however is the love of my life.I don't know what I would do without him.He follows me around everywhere I go.Even when I take a shower he jumps in.He is a dalmation/pitbull mix so this can be a pain sometimes as he is large.
