If you could go back in time and warn someone about what was to happen in their future, whom would you choose? With The Tudors coming soon I pick Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII.I would love to tell her that her daughter, yes daughter will rulr longer than Jane's son and Catherine's daughter combined.and I would love to tell Henry VIII that he did it. the Tudor line is secure. But it isn't Edward that saves it. It is Elizabeth, yes Elizabeth.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I would warn Pontius Pilate that he had better find another way to handle the Jesus problem because it was going to set in motion a chain of events he would be incapable of believing.
I thought about warning Jesus, but I don't think he would have done anything differently.

The way I see The Story of Jesus, he knew how it would end for him. I wonder if you told Pilate what were to happen, would he believe you? Especially that Rome will become a Christian State.

If i could go back in time there will be a lot people to warn about something very important.I was in love with Fernando DE Magellan so if i could go back around 1520(-.+ 1 year)i will tell him to not land on that damn island of Homonhon in the Philippines, because there he will die without know that all what he did was great...a great discover for all humanity...Upon their return they observed a mismatch of one day between their calendars and those who did not travel, and this pfenomen caused great excitement at the time...and finally, the need for an international date line was established.
But i know that even we will be able to turn back in time no one will can change anything ...

Yeesh, that's a toughy. Everything that has happened in our history has shaped out world. So changing the outcome could be for the better, could be for the worse. If I went back and told Jesus to keep his mouth shut and watch out for other people, there would be no christianity. If I warned JFK and he stayed president we may have had another failed bay of pigs event. Or america would never have learned the inner workings of the american government and the possible 'conspiracies' that drive it. Both these men have lived on in legend.
What I'm getting at is changing history can be tricky. I wouldn't mind telling the titanic there is an iceburg. Or the space shuttle Challenger crew not to get on board that day. But from every disaster is a lesson. Is it fair that people had to die for that lesson? Absolutely not. But that's history.

Would I stop myself from asking to have happy birthday sung that day? Would I take meds back to save Prince Albert & make Queen Victoria a happier person? Would I find a way to keep Hitler from being conceeved? How about the assasins in the Austro-Hungarian empire & maybe stop WWI? WWII was ineveitable because of WWI. How about preventing John Wilkes Booth from killing Lincoln? How to choose....
