Carrie Underwood - Country girl with a lot of heart!

Since winning American Idol, Carrie Marie Underwood has been on a roller coaster ride to success. Her first album, "Some Hearts" has gone 5x platinum and she has been winning top awards in all major music award shows. Carrie is no longer just another contest winner but a truly recognized artist with a knack for picking the songs that people can relate to. And she can hold her own with the best of them. But how is she handling the fame? Everybody has to grow up sometimes but will she still have that sweet smile, that spunk and that down-to-earth attitude that endeared her to millions? Or will she go down that path of the over glamorized, the guarded and jaded?

I also like Carrie Underwood. She's really a superb performer. I've been her fan since American Idol Season 4 days. And she always surprised me with good song selection in that contest. After winning the title, she still keeps on surprising me new and very heartfelt songs which really topped the music charts worldwide. I even remember when she sang Heart's song, "Alone" in American Idol. After she sang, Simon Cowell predicted that she will not only win the competition, she will also sell more records than any other previous idols. Somehow, it's true. She's very popular now. Everybody knows her style and attitude now. But in terms of staying power in the show business and music arena, it's still up to her how she would handle all the pressures in Hollywood.
