I have never heard of vitamins that make a child sleep and eat. They are used for nutrition. My daughter prefers the gummy flintstone vitamins because she likes the taste of them. If he can eat gummies, I would recommend this kind.

I don't think there are any vitamins that will do that! If he doesn't want to eat because he's too busy, and not just picky, then just let him nibble on healthy snacks when he is ready for them. If he's picky, a good children's vitamin will supply his RDA of vitamins and minerals. Little children really don't need a lot of food to keep them going as long as what they eat is healthy and not junk food. If you want to make him sleepy, some foods contain tryptophan, which is a natural sleep inducer. Turkey and other poultry, oats, bananas, red meat, eggs, peanuts, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, and dates are some foods that contain tryptophan. Give him a bedtime snack of some of these he will eat. Don't let him play roughly before bedtime, make a quiet time before his bedtime, maybe read him a story. Warms baths will help make him sleepy also.

My mom always slips my sister the flinstone gummies vitamins she just puts them in a pack of her favorite gummy fruit snacks and she doesn't really even notice shes ate them, mom always makes sure she eats them though. sometimes she forgets t give them to her though. Sleep? I had always thought that vitamins revved up the body not slowed it down. I he will drink it, when I need to rest I drink a cup of hot chocolate but instead of using water I use warm milk and it puts me to sleep. As some mentioned above turning the television off and stopping playing atleast 30 minutes before bed is best so kids won't be so wired up. Reading is what I do for my sister and telling her bedtime stories it puts her to sleep. She loves ones made up with her name in them. Eating now is hard just stick an array of food out that he likes where he can see it at all times and he will nibble on it all day here and there that is what my sister in law does for her little one.
