Holidays are hard for me.

I don't know why your so far from home. I do know it will get better. I went through this very same thing. I moved from NY to miami 7 years ago. I was hurting inside so bad for the first 3 years. I was crying on holidays and all. I started to look for plane tickets 2 weeks in advance. I started flying back and forth to see my family. It was not good in the long run,it cost so much. I now make sure I am in NY for Christmas. This has made it better. Instead of getting my tickets 2 weeks in advance I'll get them months in advance. All you can do is try to get out.. I know it sounds hard to do. It is not. I was home crying on my first Christmas away from home. The entire street has a party. We were invited to a lady's house for dinner and,cake,wine.. It was beautiful. We even had a whole pie to go home with. To to go to a easter special in your neighborhood.
