What is the best way to sell a home fast? / myLot

I would like to have some tips on how to get my home to sell when I'm ready to sell it. Is it better to hire an agent or do a for sale by owner. I was told that if I plant flowers it will attract buyers. What are some more tips?

Get rid of all excess clutter and make the rooms look as spacious as possible. If you have too much furniture put some in storage for a while to give the place that spacious look. Most people even check inside cupboards and ovens ect so make sure these are also clean. Flowers and fresh plants help too.

Thanks for the tips. My closets are going to be my biggest challenge. I have so many clothes and shoes. I might have to store it in the attic or put it in storage when we get ready to sell.
