Weather Changes - How Does It Affect You?

Philippines

Some of us are accustomed to the 4 seasons of each year while, there are others who are lucky to have the sun and rain throughout the year, that is, in the country where we reside or in the country of our origin. Where I live, we have the sunny and rainy days only. But, the weather has greatly changed. The rains fall so hard when they come and, the sun comes in so hot during sunny days. During the first 2 months of the current year, the rains kept coming almost everyday. Floods crept into my lot. This is bad because, it caused most of my plants to rot no matter what I do. Now that the sunny days have come, it is much too hot, drying up some of my plants even if we water them in the mornings and the afternoons. How about you? What are your observations of the weather around your country? Is it still as friendly as it used to be?

I'd say that winter here is colder and worse now. I have been here less than 10 yrs but my first winter was not as bad although it was bad for me at the time I was new in the country. Strangely the first three days of spring were way warmer than usual. Now it gets colder again, just like the beginning of spring used to be.

Yes, that's right. It's crazy weather we are having now. It is shocking for us when news flash says that there are accidents taking place in some areas because the snow falls so hard making the roads slippery and sometimes impassable as the snow gets so thick. It is good that spring is at least the way it was though it started a little too hot. It could be that hot winds were blown in from somewhere.

i'm not a fan of weather change because i would most of the time get sick because of this. i have asthma and whenever the seasons change i would get colds and then coughs and there! asthma! i'm really lucky to be living in a country with only just two seasons.. hot and hotter! hehehehhe! but still i get sick.. i would still like to experience four seasons.. just for the heck of it, i just hope i would have enough medicine or just pray so hard that i won't get sick and enjoy the seasons..

Hello, barnkinney. You seem to know how to stay happy and look at the lighter side of things. That's a good attitude that you have. I am sold to the idea a hot and hotter climate to deal with.

hi friend, yes, now ,in my place, the spring is coming, and the weather became warm.but it is not steady.for example, last week,it was very very warm, and we worn the T-shirt.but these two days,it became so cold and the cold wind came back again.so we have to change the thick clothes again.i do not like the alternation between cold and warm, wet and dry,as it will bring us the rheum easily.last weekend ,it was raining so heavy, but today,i feel very dry everywhere.so i hope the true spring will come quickly, then we can put off the thick clothes, instead of the thin ,fashion ones.lol...how about your place?

If the climate changes that fast, most people get sick. These sudden changes in the weather can weaken us considerably no matter how much we try to cope with it. The body can only do so much keeping up with the temperature and climatic changes.

Your children has shown sensitivity to hot temperatures. Make them drink plenty of water and fruit juices. Fruits like papayas, pineapples, apples, grapes and guavas will greatly help, too.

our unpredictable sunny or cold weather gives us too many illnesses especially to the young ones.

These dramatic changes in our climate and temperature will surely cause us to be sick. Increase intake of fruits and fruit juices will help us get by a little better.

We share the same observation. It is sad that things have turned this way. We will always prefer that the climate will be as they used to be. Now, with the turn of events, we are having some difficulty coping.

nope. i don't think it's friendly as it used to be. there are lots which changed after some years. and it just surprises us every now and then. now, when it rains, it pours so hard sometimes disabling me to go out and do what i planned to do. when the sun is shining, there are times when it's too hot and really irritates me a lot. yep. changes of weather have effects on my mood and my day.

Most of us have observed that, the weather and the climate we are having now are not as friendly as they used to be. We are finding ways to be able to deal with it accordingly. However, most of us find out that these prevailing climatic conditions are deterring us from carrying out most of our planned activities. Just as you have pointed out that, there are some of those which you plan doing which you can no longer do because of unfavorable weather.

I'm very sure it is different for you, but this sounds like the Philippines I remember. I even have a story on MyLot about how one day I couldn't dry off when I got out of the shower. But to answer your question, I am a truck river and although I live in one of those places with one or two climates, I must pay close attention to the weather so I know what I must go through and calculate my drive time.

Living in a tropical country, I am not really bothered with the winter, its hardly cold. The summer and the rain is what gets me. Its SO hot and humid in the summer, the respite I get is being with minimum clothing! lol The rains really make me happy but it rains really heavy to the point of flooding the entire city, makes it hard for me to travel without getting drenched and soppy. I somehow cannot stick to one weather, a change in weather makes me happy, though I have a feeling its getting worser, and its all because of the 'developments' worldwide. Makes me shiver when I think of global warming, am really scared of water.

in india we have all the four seasons and are extreme in the place i live. in summer the temperature shoots up to 45-50 degrees celsius and in winter it drops below to even 2 degrees. rainy season isnt lengthy but it rains heavily and sometimes continues for days making every work difficult. although it cleans the city the epidemics are many and lots of people die due to lack of proper sanitary support. floods are natural and occur in many parts of the country and has lead to displacement of many people. its really sad that inspite of the government doing its best such things happen. its 15 years in the place i live and i am adjusted to the climatic pattern prevailing here especially i love winter and spring season with freshness all over.

I am in a country where I see summer and scorching sun for most part of the year. Other times I could see a bit of rain. But this affects me too mych. If its rainy, then I dont even feel like waking up from the bed.Intend sleeping on and on and on. Its so cold and that makes me feel so. If its sunny, I am not able to sleep during the nights without airconditioners because of the humid climate prevailing In my opinion I would say weather does affect most people's lives in some way or the other.

That weather affects our lives, is very evident in the way that you relate it now. I can see that you are more adapted to the hot and hotter temperatures.

Hello trinidadvelasco. I live in Yangtze Delta, the east part of China, where we have four apparent seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter. In fact, I like all these four seasons because they offer us different pleasures of sensation. But my favorite is autumn because it is neither too hot nor too cold. It is perfect weather, a season for farmers to harvest...

Sometimes cloudy gloomy days make me sad. I definitely prefer sunny days. I am in a better mood then.
