To start this off I am lightingMD's husband David. I am tired of polititions who do not care for us at all. They spend our money with no thaught, lie to us like we are fools and in general giving our country away.
Other than Mexican's who wants our country that our ancestors and us have shed blood to protect?
Since NAFTA was ratified we have lost our jobs so that our children are going to collage to serve food. Mexican are going to be allowed to drive their semi-trucks all around the US with little or no inspection. Our boarder gaurds and police are being put in jail for doing their jobs. Drug smugglers are given immunity, a green card and money to testify against our police. Our country gave an illeagl 2.5 million dollars for pain an suffering because they got a 1/2 inch scratch while being arrested!
Mexico has the 9th largest econnomy in the world and one of the highest poverty rate in the world. Maybe our government thinks that if they team up with one of the most corrupt countries they may learn how to screw this country up better!
You and I do not matter any more. We earn the money that they spend like good little worker bees and they sit there looking down on us telling us to work harder, give more and they know what is best for us.
WAKE UP AMERICA, WE MAY NOT HAVE MUCH FREEDOM LEFT!! ABLA ESPANIOL?

I hear ya, I hear ya. I don't feel like I have represntation in congress, and yes I vote. Feels like the lesser of two evils most of the time tho' NPR was going over the amount of money various presidential candidates have raised at this point to get themselves elected and I wanted to be sick. I won't at the rate I am going earn that much money in my lifetime, and the candidates are just getting started on fundraising. They could pay off the national debt, or feed a couple of third world countries, or pay for health care for every american. And they will spend every penny of it plus more getting themselves elected. I'm sorry but, people that could represnt me, who understand my circumstances will never get elected because they don't have the where with all to mount a campaign and their thoughts are too unpopular to get any major backing.

Why do we keep putting these kinds of people in office. I have voted every election since I turned 18 and I research everyone before I vote and still we get people like this in office. What is going on?
